I used the sequins mixes from Lucy's Cards. They are just precious! The one thing I like is that you don't have to use the entire mix in a shaker. I've used a few sequins, like here, to add embellishments to my cards and with the variety they go a long way.
I used the grid background stamp and heat embossed it and used abandoned coral distress ink and watercoloured it in. I used a stitched rectangle die and the thanks die to cut out the front panel and used liquid adhesive and added that to the card base.
Don't forget to head over the the blog and link up your project, we love seeing what you create!
Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!
Coralynn :)
Your card is gorgeous and I love all the sequins:) xx
ReplyDeleteBeautifully elegant and just shows you don't need to cover a project on sequins! X
ReplyDeleteOoo, oooo, oooo, Coralynn! Love the embossed and wc background behind the die cut! Gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteSo appropriate to use coral ink! I too love how sequins look when they appear to just be randomly dropped - my favourite way to use them. Great card!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty watercolouring Coralynn - and it is the perfect splash of colour for your card! Your sequin placement is so perfect - they just draw your eye right to the sentiment. I have to admit that I really struggle with sequin placement so I would love some tips if you have any :) Jill
ReplyDeleteA lot of work went into making your background - and fabulous it is too! Lovely card x
ReplyDeleteWonderful CAS card and a great way to embellish with sequins. Love it!
