Thanks - Simon Says July Card Kit

Hi everyone,

I'm back with a card made with the SSS July Card kit.

I used the SSS stitched rectangle dies to cut out the front panel and popped it up on an A2 size card base with Recollections 110# card stock.

I used Versamark and SSS white embossing powder to stamp out the images and I heat embossed it all.  I used masking to have the images overlap and give it dimension.

I used my Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colours to colour in the images.  I didn't go crazy but I didn't stay within the lines either.  I didn't want it to be perfect.   I finished off the card with SSS sequins.

Lawn Fawn Card - Congrats!

Hi everyone,

I'm back on the BRI blog sharing a Lawn Fawn card.

I started out with the Gnome Sweet Gnome stamps and dies and coloured him in with copics.  I used the Puffy Cloud Border dies and cut out some out of white card stock and glued it to the card base.  I used the Tumbled Glass distress ink for the sky.  For the grass I used the Let's Polka, Mon Amie petite paper pack and but it out with the Grassy Borders die.

I then used the banner from the Home Sweet Home stamp set along with the coordinating dies and stamped the sentiment from that same set with Memento ink.   I coloured it in with copics.

Below is a list of the colours I used to colour in the images above.

Have you heard?!?  We now have SEQUINS!!!!!!!  Be sure to check them out over at the SHOP,  they are awesome.  I can't get enough of the names.  ;)

Paper Smooches sympathy card

Hi everyone,

I'm here playing along with the Paper Smooches Sparks Anything Goes challenge.

Here is my card.  I cut out the flowers and leaves from white 110# card stock and used my copics to colour them in.  I embossed a card stock panel with a small dot embossing folder and cut a circle out of the top middle.  I created a shaker with it and popped it up and added some purple, white and clear sequins along with some shaped glitter.

I stamped the hearts in the background with the ones from the Graceful Beauties set and stamped it with Hero Arts ink and used first and second generation stamping for the background to give it some interest.

I added a piece of acetate to the back of the panel and loaded in the sequins and glitters and then placed the back panel and that created the shaker.  I then placed the flower and leaved on the top panel, stamped my sentiment on a banner die cut with Versafine and popped it up on some foam tape as well.

I then added some adhesive to the back and glued it to the purple panel that was cut out from a WPlus9 die and then it all went on an A2 sized card base.

Smile - Bookmark

Hi everyone,

I haven't been posting as much as I would like lately but we are nearing the end of our kitchen rents and I cannot wait.  We are tying up a few things and that's what has been keeping me away from my craft room.  But it will soon be done and I am so excited!

I have a quick post of a bookmark I did up for my daughter.  She loves to read and can have several books on the go at once.  I have a hard time reading one book at a time and finishing it let alone tow or three.  LoL!

I used the Avery Elle bookmark die and cut it out of water colour paper.  I stamped the flowers and then coloured them in with distress inks.  I cut a second bookmark and glued it to the back to give it some stability and stamped the sentiment in the middle.  I then finished it off with a small piece of ribbon.

That's it for me, see you again soon!!
