You Make My Tail Wag - Bookmark

Hi everyone,

I'm back with a bookmark project for you today.

I started out with the MFT stitched rectangle stax dies and extended the cutting to give me a longer rectangle.

I used the "You Make My Tail Way" stamps and dies and cut and coloured this cutie pie.  He just puts a smile on your face doesn't he?

I stamped the sentiment in Memento black along with a paw print and image from the set.  I coloured him in with copics (E23, E25, E37) and used the dot detail technique to give him some dimension.   I adhered him on to the bookmark with my tape runner and added a small whole at the top and added some nature twine.

Thanks for stopping by!

Be sure to stop by the SHOP  because the Lawn Fawn Fall/Winter Release will be in stock soon.  It's AWESOME!

Hello - MFT

Hi everyone,

I posted a pic on Instagram the other day of my Butterfly Reflections Ink haul with lots of MFT goodies and here is the one of the cards I made.

I used copics to colour in the adorable boot from the MFT Gnome set and took a white gel pen to add some small highlights.  I used the MFT herringbone brink stencil and blended in some blue ink.

I cut out the front panel with the MFT In & Out diagonal stitched rectangle dies and adhered that onto  blue card stock.

I popped the image up with foam tape as well as the banner with the sentiment from the stamp set.
I then added a few enamel dots to finish it off.

Stay tuned from some exciting news coming soon!!!!!!  ;)

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon.

SSD - Happy Birthday

Hello everyone,

I'm here on the Skipping Stones Design blog today with a birthday card.

I used the feather from the Victorian Summer stamp set.  When I say this I immediately thought of a falling feather when kids have a pillow fight so I thought I would do something similar.

I used three different shades of ink and the stamped them as if they are falling from the sky.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Dandelion Dreams set along the side instead of straight across to give it some interest and to finish it off I took a gel pen and drew on the

Thanks so much for stopping by, see you again soon!!

Happy Hello! AAA Card Challenge Game #45

Hi everyone,

I'm playing along with the AAA Card Challenge  Game #45 and the theme is "It's So Hot!"

Here is my card.

I used the Simon Says Stamp July card kit supplies for this card.

It started out as a shaker card.  I got all the foam tape on the back and then realized that I forgot something, yup the acetate!  So I thought I would just roll with it and make it a FAUX shaker card!!

I cut out the front panel with stitched square dies and a heart die for the window.   started out as a shaker card and I ahing.  So I thought I would just roll with it and make it a FAUX shaker card!!

I took the outline Hello and stamped it in Audrey Blue ink and coloured it in with my Y21 & 0 copic marker.s  I let the ink dry enough that it didn't smudge when I used the markers and I didn't do any heavy shading either.

I then added in the confetti hearts and stars from the kit and instead of having them shake around, I glued them to the background.  I also added some of the SSS sequins that come in all the different sizes.   I took some of the stickers that came in the kit and added them to create a sentiment and added in the sun, clouds and hearts.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

Hello Sunshine - Card

Hello everyone!!

I'm here playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #25 and I'm sure it was made just for me.  If you follow me, you know that I am a Clean and Simply kind'a girl so the challenge is "White on White"!  Yup, right up my alley eh!

So now on to my card.

I started out with an A2 sized card base and I use the Recollections 110# white card stock.  I then took some vellum and stamped the Grid Background stamp with SSS white pigment ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I cut it down and used multi matte medium to put small little dots of glue where the lines intersect and adhered that to the base.

I stamped the sentiment on the banner die with smoke ink and popped it up on foam tape.  I then pieced the leaves that I die cut out of white card stock under the banner.  I die cut the sunshine sentiment that came in the August card kit from what card stock as well and glued it to the banner and added some Wink of Stella.

To finish off the card as with most of my cards I used Pretty Pink Posh sequins in marshmallow, 4 & 6mm sizes.

Well that's it for me.  Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!
