Day 8 - Christmas Card Series

Hello everyone,

I'm back with Day 8 of my Holiday Card Series.

I can't get over how fast his card came together.  And if I had more of these stickers I would most definitely mass produce these for Christmas.

I used the brush stroke from the Brush Grunge Alpha set from Honey Bee Stamps and I stamped it with Maliblue and Fog SSS inks, added a puffy sticker from the November SSS card kit and added some of the adhesive-backed sequins that came with the kit as well as some Pretty Pink Post sweetness.   I stamped the sentiment in Smoke ink and called it done!

Day 7 - Christmas Cards Series

Hello everyone,

It's day 7 and I have to admit that this card has been partially completed for a while now and I finally figured out what to do.

I embossed the snowflakes with pearl embossing powder from Recollections and cut out a stitched rectangle and popped it up on foam tape to an A2 card base.

I cut out the Christmas from some red card stock I had in my stash and heat embossed in white the MERRY sentiment on a piece of black card stock.

Day 6 - Christmas Card Series

Hello everyone,

I'm here with the card for day 6 of my Holiday Card Series and I just love this little Santa.  He's just so happy!!

I used a few different products on this card.  I like doing that because I get more out of all of my crafty goodies.

I cut out the snowflake panel out of some patterned paper I had in my stash from a few seasons ago and popped it up on the card base.  I cut out another pane, from slate card stock and added some glitter glass embossing paste through a falling snow stencil.

I coloured in one of the adorable Santa's from MFT with my copics and added some stickles to his hat  and pompom.  I added Wink of Stella to his suit.

I cut out the hills with stitched hills dies and added some stickles for some interest and stamped the sentiment in Versafine onyx black ink.  I am always forgetting to stamp my sentiment BEFORE I pop up my die cut so this one was no different.  I did have to re-stamp it and no it didn't stamp perfectly.  Even the MISTY won't help in this situation but luckily this time I was able to fix it so that it was saved.

Day 5 - Christmas Card Series

Hello everyone,

I'm back with day 5 of my Christmas card series with a very CAS card for you.

I am all about white clean and simple cards and I think it's because when you add a bit of colour to the project it goes POP!

This would actually be a good card to mass produce.

I started out with the chevron cover die and cut out the top panel from white card stock and popped it up on foam tape to an A2 card base.

I combined the MFT's Joyous Christmas sentiment set as well as the SSS Merry Christmas die set as the focal points.  I added some black Wink of Stella to the black sentiment and finished it off with some My Minds Eye enamel dots.

Day 4 - Holiday Card Series 2015

Welcome to day 4 of my Christmas card series and I'm here with a super adorable set my MFT and Lawn Fawn.

I wanted to make a shaped card and I just love the stitched ovals so I thought it would look great with a little scene.  Once I die cut all the pieces I used Tumbled Glass distress ink for the sky in the background.

I die cut out the hills and added some stickles to the tops to make it more wintery and added some to the background for the snowflakes as well as the white Pico embellisher.  It's like a white gel pen but much more liquid and there is a fine needle tip on the bottle.

I cut out and coloured the images with copics and glued the trees down and used foam tape of the deer and snowman and covered him with glossy accents and wink of stella.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon.
