A Blog Named Hero - Bling it Up March Challenge

Hello everyone,

We are half way through our March challenge with Studio Katia as our sponsor.  We have had such great fun working with Studio Katia and Hero Arts products this month I'm sad to see the month go by so fast.

For my card I started out thinking I was going to watercolour the flowers with my Zigs until I realized that I had stamped on the wrong paper.  The struggle is real.  ;)

So instead I decided to just leave the front panel as is.  I then did some partial die cutting with the Ribbons

AAA Cards Game 86 - Diecuts

Hello everyone,

We are back with AAA Cards for Game 86 Diecuts.  I love dies. I think they can be so simple or very complex and they are wonderful in everyway.

My card today is one that can be masse produced and to mix it up you can simply change the sentiment to a birthday, thinking of you or anything else you can think of.

This card is going to a very special lady who loves her kitties as much as I do.

I coloured the kitty for THEDAILYMARKER30CHALLENGE and I added the mouse and die cut both with their coordinating dies.  I then cut out the scalloped tag from white card stock and popped it up on foam tape.

I then stamped the sentiment with black ink on to a banner that I cut out with a banner die and also popped it to the card and added the kitty and mouse just above it so they didn't look like they were floating.  The with some grey ink I stamped the little paw prints diagonally to give the card some interest.

Our amazing sponsor:

We'd like to see diecuts as the main focus on your cards.

AAA Cards Game 85 - Red Carpet at the Oscars

Hello everyone,

We have a new game for you and it's all about the Glam on the Red Carpet over at AAA Cards!

The challenge is to be inspired by the fashion on the Red Carpet from any year.  I was inspired by this dress warn by Joan Collins in 2015.

For my card I started with a piece of black card stock.  The then stamped a leaf from a layering stamp set with versamark and heat embossed it with gold embossing power.

The then stamped the sentiment the same way.  Then I took a gold gel pen and added some dots for interest.  I tried to add the red that's on her dress but it was just not working so I left it out.  I then added liquid glue to the back and mounted it to an A2 sized card base.

We'd like to see a card inspired by the fashions on the Oscar red carpet.
This could be male or female and from any year

Our amazing sponsor this game is Happy Little Stampers and the are offering up a $15 gif certificate.

Thanks for stopping by, see you a again soon!

You & Me - A Blog Named Hero Monthly Challenge

Hello everyone,

I can't believe we are already halfway through February and halfway through our CAS challenge for A Blog Named Hero with our amazing sponsor Jane's Doodles.  I've had lots of fun playing with these stamps!

This is the card I created for my hubby for Valentine's Day.  I was playing with the stamps and with this one I was stamping off the ink and discovered this little pattern.  This is such a simple and fast card to make it would be great for mass producing for a number of holidays.  You can change up the sentiment and it's good to go.

So I used the row of hearts and Red Royal Hero Arts ink and used first, second and third generation stamping.  I then stamped the sentiment with Hero Arts black dye ink and then used a black gel pen to draw a square around the card base.

I want to thank Jane's Doodles for being our sponsor this month, we had lots of fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by, see you again soon.
