I haven't had a chance to do up another card for today but we still have  few days to add them in before the galleries are locked.

I wanted to congratulate all the winners for this class.  Holy moly there were a TON of prizes!  I was not among those who did win but that's ok, as I have had the chance to join in the class with some pretty awesome ladies!

Thanks to everyone who showed their support and can't wait for the next class to come!

Have a great night everyone and see you back here with another card shortly.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

SCC2 Week 3 Day 5 the finally!

Hello everyone,

Well today marks the last day of class!  There is going to be a rap up on Monday to let us know who the winners of the giveaways are (fingers crossed!).

Here is my card for the last and final day  W3 D5!

As all other Fridays have gone we have been challenged with more colour combos as well as some great videos of some wonderful cards.

Here I used Recollections black, grey and white card stock.  The white was used to stamp my image.

I used the July SSS CKOM stamp set designed by Kristina Werner.  This card is also based on her card for today's class.

I used white daisy embossing powder from CTMH and a white gel pen for the lines around the card.

I would like to thank the Online Card Classes for a wonderful 3 weeks and I am sad to see it end.  I am blessed to have seen so many creative card makers and have truly been inspired from all of their creations!

Thank you for your support and visiting my blog along with way!

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

SCC2 Week 3 Day 3

Hello everyone,

Here is the card for today's class.

I used a stamp set that comes with our CTMH Artbooking cartridge as well as a Kelly Purkey set that came in one of my CKOM sets for father's day.

I used 2 MS butterfly punches with the different sizes and folded them in half to give them interest.

The ink is a combination of Tim Holtz distress ink and CTMH inks.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a blessed day,

SCC2 W3 D2

Hello Everyone!

Here I am again with today's card

Here I used our new Artbooking cartridge from CTMH that will be available August 1st and I used the pool colour card stock that I got in one of my CKOM from SSS.

I also used the cream colour card stock from the same kit.  The stamp is from our April SOTM and ink as well from CTMH.

I used the Martha Stewart multi heart punch again for this as they just fit over the other hearts.

Thanks for stopping by, have a blessed day!

SCC2 W3 D1

Hi everyone,

Here is my card for yesterday W3 D1.

I had a bit of trouble with the background stamps as the ones I have are distressed and don't give a crisp impression but I think it worked out.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the "thanks" as I don't have a lot of dies but thought this worked out just fine.  For the hearts I used the Martha Stewart heart punch that has the different sized hearts.

I used the daisy white ink from CTMH and a Momento dye ink that I notice now does not show up so well in the photo.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a blessed day!

SCC2 Week 2 day 1

Hi everyone, well today starts the first day of week 2 for the Summer Card Camp 2.

We have great colour choices this week and I am excited to do a card for the round card sketch.

I used the card stock that came in one of the SSS CKOM (card kits of the month) as well as the pool card stock and the patterned paper and velum.

I used my nestabilities circle dies to cut out the circles.  My set is small so the card base only measures 3.75 in.

I heat embossed the "Thanks" with CTMH daisy white embossing powder.  It's more like a cream colour so for this week it worked out well as cream is one of our colours.
The twine is from CTMH and it came in one of the hostess reward packages.

I had fun doing this card.  It's just as fun seeing what everyone else in the class is doing as well.  Lots of talent and great inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by, can't wait for tomorrow!!

Bye for now!

SCC2 Day 4 - 10 minute challenge.

Hi,

For day 4 we were asked to do a card in 10 minutes.  Now the only time I can have 10 minutes to myself is if I lock myself in the bathroom and that is really not a place I want to craft!  So...I didn't do a card in 10 minutes but I did make a card that could be done in 10 minutes.

I used my circle Nestabiliies and I used the largest one.  I cut out 2 circles and scored one just about an inch in from the edge and glued them together to make a folding card.

Then I cut out a scolloped print from one of my patterned paper from the Dream Pop paper (again I know!)

I then cut out another smaller circle and inked it up around the edges and stamped the happy birthday from the new SSS June CKOM.

As you can see the card base is embossed with a honeycomb type shapes.  The only thing is that after I had finished the card I realized that it didn't really match any of the sketches for this week!  Oh well!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have great day, bye!

SCC2 Day 3

Hi!

Here is the card I did for day 3 of the Summer Card Camp2.  The theme was stitching.

I used the CTHM Dream Pop paper pack once again along with CTMH inks and Momento black for the sentiment.

Here is folded the ends of the petals to add dimention.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day, bye!

SCC2 Day 2

Hi again!

Here is another card for day 2 of the Summer Card Class 2.  I am really finding my creative side and I'm also getting a chance to use up the supplies I have on hand, which is great.

I used CTMH paper and I realized tonight that our Dream Pop promo paper pack colours
match our colours almost perfectly for this week...worked out well!

I did some basic copic colouring and used N8, Y19 and B00 and Momento Tuxedo Black.  I stamped the bee on the inside of the card for interest.

Thanks again for dropping by and see you tomorrow!!!

Bye for now!

First Card for the Summer Card Camp 2!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you the card I made for Day 1 of the Summer Card Camp 2.  We have three sketches to choose from and I chose the first one.  Also we have 5 colours and we need to use 4 of them.

This is a standard A2 sized top folding card and I used CTMH paper such as white daisy and a paper pack that was a promotion on our site a while back and it's embossed and you can see on the heart in the last picture.

I used my embossing folder from Cuttlebug called "Divine Swirls" and I used CTMH pigment ink for two of the hearts on either side of the big one, which I used the same paper as the card base.  I glued paper to the hearts and the inked them up.

I am having lots of fun and can't wait for tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by,
Have a great day!

Summer Card Camp 2

Hi everyone!

I have decided to sign up for the SSS Summer Card Camp 2 in order to get some inspiration as well as use up my supplies.  Right now they are all in craft boxes and storage drawers and felt that this was a good way to use them up.

Here is a card I did for the second challenge pre-challenge and had fun doing it.

I used Recollections craft card stock from Michaels along with a 6x6 paper pack from Walmart for the smaller square in the middle.  I also used the snippets from the June SSS CKOM and the wooden buttons are from Close to my Heart.

Thanks,
Happy Crafting!
