Day 7 - Christmas Cards Series

Hello everyone,

It's day 7 and I have to admit that this card has been partially completed for a while now and I finally figured out what to do.

I embossed the snowflakes with pearl embossing powder from Recollections and cut out a stitched rectangle and popped it up on foam tape to an A2 card base.

I cut out the Christmas from some red card stock I had in my stash and heat embossed in white the MERRY sentiment on a piece of black card stock.

Skipping Stones Design Stamp & Share

Hello everyone,

I'm back with our Stamp and Share for November.

For my card today I used the Merry and Bright mini set.  I used watercolour paper and heat embossed the snowflakes with white embossing powder and I used distress ink for the background.

I also heat embossed withe sentiment with white embossing powder on dark grey card stock and popped it up on foam tape.  To finish off my card I used marshmallow sequins along with some liquid pearls in charcoal.

Don't forget to head over to the Skipping Stones Design blog and add your project to the linky.  We can't wait to see what you've created!

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!!

Day 6 - Christmas Card Series

Hello everyone,

I'm here with the card for day 6 of my Holiday Card Series and I just love this little Santa.  He's just so happy!!

I used a few different products on this card.  I like doing that because I get more out of all of my crafty goodies.

I cut out the snowflake panel out of some patterned paper I had in my stash from a few seasons ago and popped it up on the card base.  I cut out another pane, from slate card stock and added some glitter glass embossing paste through a falling snow stencil.

I coloured in one of the adorable Santa's from MFT with my copics and added some stickles to his hat  and pompom.  I added Wink of Stella to his suit.

I cut out the hills with stitched hills dies and added some stickles for some interest and stamped the sentiment in Versafine onyx black ink.  I am always forgetting to stamp my sentiment BEFORE I pop up my die cut so this one was no different.  I did have to re-stamp it and no it didn't stamp perfectly.  Even the MISTY won't help in this situation but luckily this time I was able to fix it so that it was saved.

Holly Jolly Holidays AAA Cards - Game 53

Hello everyone,

I'm back for Game #53 - Anything Goes!

Since I'm in the momentum of Christmas, I have a Christmas Card for you today.

I stamped the snowflakes in silver ink and popped up the panel on an A2 cards base.  I used the castle from MFT and coloured it in with my copics and added some glossy accents to the windows.  I added a stitched circle and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine onyx black.  To finish off the card I used a glitter belly roll pen and added a line to frame in the panel.

This game runs till December 5th, so we hope you come play along with us and add to the linky on our blog.   Can't wait to see what you create!!

Thanks of stopping by,  see you again soon!!

Day 5 - Christmas Card Series

Hello everyone,

I'm back with day 5 of my Christmas card series with a very CAS card for you.

I am all about white clean and simple cards and I think it's because when you add a bit of colour to the project it goes POP!

This would actually be a good card to mass produce.

I started out with the chevron cover die and cut out the top panel from white card stock and popped it up on foam tape to an A2 card base.

I combined the MFT's Joyous Christmas sentiment set as well as the SSS Merry Christmas die set as the focal points.  I added some black Wink of Stella to the black sentiment and finished it off with some My Minds Eye enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!
