Skipping Stones Designs Tip / Technique Blog Hop!

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the Tip/Technique Blog Hop!

We are all sharing a tip or a favourite technique with you and we hope you will hop along with us.

Mine is a tip.  I use the round blending sponges for all types of inks and I found these round velcro dots and my local dollar store (you can also find something similar in the sewing section of your local Walmart or Targets or even The Dollar Tree).

They are adhesive backed so they stick right to the underside of the ink pad and then I can stick my little foam pad right to it.  That way I don't have to worry about storing them and them trying to find them!

Here is a birthday card I made with the Grunge set and the new mini set Elephant End.

Here is the line up for the hop.  I can't wait for you to see what all the other amazing DT members have in store for you!

You have until Wednesday September 16 at 5:00PM EST to comment.

  6. This is a great idea, so you store your stamps upside down but with the little sponge on it you can not stack them? Would love to see how you store your ink pads then. I love the idea of keeping them together b/c you don't have to figure out which one goes to which color: which is what I have to do. :)

    1. Hi Heidi,
Thank you for visiting. I have a craft room tour on my YiuTube channel and that shows how I store my inks. You can have a look here: www.youtube.com/coralynnmurray and it's my latest one posted. Hope this helps. It's still not perfect but it works for now.

  8. Great tip and perfect way to keep those blending pads organized! I keep mine in a container and then have to rummage through them all every time! I just love your super adorable little card!

  11. Your card is too stinkin' cute! Here I am thinking that you can only use the little foam pad with the little cubes. Great idea! I sure did get tired of losing and wasting my foam.

  12. This is a great tip!
I will have to get some Velcro dots
and do this. Right now, all of my foam pads
are in a ziplock bag, all mixed together.
    Super cute card!
