Believe in the Magic

Hello everyone,

I have a Christmas card today that I never got a chance to share.

I am getting into this galaxy background thing and it's pretty amazing.  When you start it looks like a serious hot mess but once you get the water spots and ink splatter on it, it transforms to something spectacular.

After creating the background I went on to die cutting the sentiment with some gold card stock dividers I kept from an old planner and a piece of vellum from Michaels.  I cut out the banner out of a piece of black card stock from my stash and added it to the card base as well as the sentiment.

Head over to my YouTube channel to see how a created this card.

Holiday Card Series - Merry Christmas

Hello everyone,

I have another card for my Holiday Card series.  I used some of the images I coloured during Kathy Racoosin's colouring challenge.

As soon as I coloured these up, I knew exactly the card I was going to make with them.  And so I did!

I stamped and coloured in the images with my copics and then I ran them through my die cutting machine and then added them to the panel with foam tape. I then cut out a square panel using white card stock from Recollections using the SSS stitched square dies.

As I put the stencil down onto the paper with from Winnie & Walter, I added it diagonally and then ink blended some Fog ink from Simon Says Stamp.  I then popped it up onto a square card base with fun foam. I am liking that stuff more and more for creating dimension on my cards. Especially since I'm one of those who gets so involved with the card I end up forgetting to stamp the sentiment until the card is put together.  This way even if I forget, there is enough support under the panel that I can still add it to the card without destroying the whole card.

After that was all done, I die cut the word merry three times out of black card stock from Lawn Fawn with a SSS word. It actually comes all together as Merry Christmas and I just cut off the Christmas part and stamped it instead. Unfortunately it has been so long since I did this card I can't remember which set the Christmas came from.  But there are many stamps set that would work.

To finish off the card I used a white Signo gel pen and added the little dots and dashes to the flower.

Dear Santa, is it too late?

Hi everyone,

I'm back with a Christmas card for you today and I chuckle every time I see this sentiment so I thought I would add it to my card.

I cut a piece of patterned paper and cut it out with a stitched rectangle die and cut out a couple of snow drifts with some stitched hills die and cut them out of white card stock.  I added the sentiment to one of the hills and added them everything to the card base with liquid glue and foam tape.

I used the rein deer, sleigh, candy cane, present and the holy from the Dear Santa set and coloured them in with my copics and added some glitter to the sleigh.  You can't have a Christmas card without some glitter. I then added three enamel dots to finish off the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by, see you again soon!

Day 8 - Christmas Card Series

Hello everyone,

I'm back with Day 8 of my Holiday Card Series.

I can't get over how fast his card came together.  And if I had more of these stickers I would most definitely mass produce these for Christmas.

I used the brush stroke from the Brush Grunge Alpha set from Honey Bee Stamps and I stamped it with Maliblue and Fog SSS inks, added a puffy sticker from the November SSS card kit and added some of the adhesive-backed sequins that came with the kit as well as some Pretty Pink Post sweetness.   I stamped the sentiment in Smoke ink and called it done!

Holly Jolly Holidays AAA Cards - Game 53

Hello everyone,

I'm back for Game #53 - Anything Goes!

Since I'm in the momentum of Christmas, I have a Christmas Card for you today.

I stamped the snowflakes in silver ink and popped up the panel on an A2 cards base.  I used the castle from MFT and coloured it in with my copics and added some glossy accents to the windows.  I added a stitched circle and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine onyx black.  To finish off the card I used a glitter belly roll pen and added a line to frame in the panel.

This game runs till December 5th, so we hope you come play along with us and add to the linky on our blog.   Can't wait to see what you create!!

Thanks of stopping by,  see you again soon!!
