More Christmas cards

Hi Everyone!

I have two more Christmas cards for you.   I am also submitting these for the Paper Smooches DT call.

The first one is one that you could reproduce quite easily as it's mostly stamping and one die cut.
I used the SSS Merry Christmas die and the November CKOM stamp set that came with the kit.

I used Momento due drop ink in red and galaxy gold.

The Merry Christmas was cut out of red card stock from Recollections.

My next card is done with a Paper Smooches free digi stamp (so cute!) This is for the PS Sparks challenge "STRIPES"

I printed it out on some card stock and use copics to colour it in.  I

I used white pigment in from CTMH to stamp the sentiment from SSS as well as my while gel pen to make the dash lines.

I also use the Copic glitter pen in clear  and gold to colour in the ribbon on the golf boxes.

Holiday Wishes Card

Hello everyone,

Today I did up a card using the Hero Arts tree cutting file from Silhouette and a few snow flakes.

I used Recollections cards stock kraft, white and a deep red.

I stamped the sentiment on SSS velum with Versamark and the heat embossed it with Hero Art white embossing powder.  This is a very white embossing powder and I love it.

I used a topic to colour in the start, then a glitter pen from Sepia in gold then I used liquid glass (CTMH) to finish it off.  I used diamond stickles on the snowflakes to give them some sparkle as well.
Then to finish the card completely I used a white gel pen to add in the lines to bring it all together.

See you soon with another card.

SSS Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes"

Hi everyone,

Here is the second card I made for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday "Anything Goes" Challenge.

I used the tree die and Thanks die from SSS and I distressed the edges of the white card stock.  This card is out of my comfort zone as I distressed the edges and used bakers twine.  I normally don't use either one on my cards but thought this would work for this one.

Hope you enjoyed my card.

SSS Wednesday Challenge is "Anything goes"

Hi everyone,

Here is a card #1 that I made for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

I used the SSS Merry Christmas die set and I cut it out of adhesive backed DCWV paper.  I found it in my daughter's craft drawer and couldn't resist when I saw this challenge.  I didn't have to fuss with glue or my Xyron machine.

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon with another card!

CASology card challenge. Week 68: BLACK

Hi everyone,

Today I did a card for the CASology challenge "Black"

I used the SSS "So stinkin' cute" stamp set and I heat embossed it in Hero Arts white embossing powder.  I dry embossed the card base with the Diving Swirls Cricut embossing folder.
(I apologize for the quality of the pictures. My daughter took the camera I normally use and I can now see the difference!)

This is just an extra card I thought I would do up.  It's Lawn Fawn "Critters in the forest" stamp set and the sentiment is from "Sunny Skies".  I used Recollections white card stock and Momento tuxedo black ink.

Muse Challenge #41

Hi everyone,

This is the card I made for the challenge.  I cut out the trees with my Silhouette and used the SSS Merry Trees.

The MUSE used trees on her card and this is what I came up with.

I used clear embossing powder on the snow flakes and Momento silver ink.  I used stickles to outline the snow banks and  a yellow CTMH pigment ink on the little start at the top of tree.

See you soon.

CASE Study Challenge #163

Hi everyone,

I have a card for the CASE Study challenge #163.

This is my inspiration for my card.

I used SSS Holiday envelope sentiments set and I stamped it the Tim Holtz distress Broken China ink.

I used SSS vellum and cut it out an 1/8 inch smaller and attached it with my TH tiny attacher.

I used the Merry Christmas die from the SSS Die & Stamps set Christmas Sentiment set  and then glued it to the vellum.  I then used my Spica clear glitter pen to cover it with sparkles!

From Us Card

Hi everyone,

Today I have a quick post about a card that I did for one of the managers on my floor who is moving on to another position.  There are a lot of us so I thought that it was fitting that I try to fit as many Critters on the front of a card as I could.

I used Critters in the forest, on the farm and Savanah as well as Sunny days for the sun, clouds and birds.  I coloured them with my copies and ta-da!

The stamp set is from the SSS October card kit as well and the YOU is from Kelly Perky that came in one of the kits.

Crisp - CASology challenge

Hi,

I'm doing up another card for the CASology challenge.

Here is the card I made.

The stamp is from the Artbooking kit from CTMH and I used Hero Arts Red Royal ink (love that colour!)

I used Recollections card stock and I made the little envelope and added the red twine (American Crafts) to hold it closed.  I cut out the middle with a craft knife (wish I had a die for it though!)

Lawnscaping Challenge 67 - Pattern Plan

Hi everyone,

Today I am joining the Pattern Play challenge over on the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog.

Here is the card I made for this challenge.

I used the "our friendship grows" stamp set and stamped it out on some CTMH pattern paper for the sunflower, leaves and flower pot.   I used Recollections paper and the blue paper is Bassill (sorry, I don't have the name) this came in one of my CKOM from Simon Says Stamp.

Gratitude card

Hi there!

I thought I would experiment with my printer and Silhouette.  Laura Bassen did this with a stamp set and feather die from Kelly Perky.

Since I didn't have the dies and stamps I improvised.  Instead I did up a few words in the Silhouette Designer Edition and printed it on white cards stock twice and on the second one I put the feather (Design ID #34665) over it and that was the only thing that cut out.  I inked up the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink around both and popped them both on on foam squares.

"Feel Better" card

Hello everyone!

Here is a card I made the other day for fall.  There was a bit of a chill in the air so this felt appropriate.

For the leaves I used the Lawn Fawn set "Our friendship grows".
I love these leaves!

I used kraft for the card base and different colours of various cards stocks.

I used Cocoa ink from Close to my Heart for the leaves and sentiment.
