Hello - MFT

Hi everyone,

I posted a pic on Instagram the other day of my Butterfly Reflections Ink haul with lots of MFT goodies and here is the one of the cards I made.

I used copics to colour in the adorable boot from the MFT Gnome set and took a white gel pen to add some small highlights.  I used the MFT herringbone brink stencil and blended in some blue ink.

I cut out the front panel with the MFT In & Out diagonal stitched rectangle dies and adhered that onto  blue card stock.

I popped the image up with foam tape as well as the banner with the sentiment from the stamp set.
I then added a few enamel dots to finish it off.

Stay tuned from some exciting news coming soon!!!!!!  ;)

SSD - Happy Birthday

Hello everyone,

I'm here on the Skipping Stones Design blog today with a birthday card.

I used the feather from the Victorian Summer stamp set.  When I say this I immediately thought of a falling feather when kids have a pillow fight so I thought I would do something similar.

I used three different shades of ink and the stamped them as if they are falling from the sky.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Dandelion Dreams set along the side instead of straight across to give it some interest and to finish it off I took a gel pen and drew on the

Happy Hello! AAA Card Challenge Game #45

Hi everyone,

I'm playing along with the AAA Card Challenge  Game #45 and the theme is "It's So Hot!"

Here is my card.

I used the Simon Says Stamp July card kit supplies for this card.

It started out as a shaker card.  I got all the foam tape on the back and then realized that I forgot something, yup the acetate!  So I thought I would just roll with it and make it a FAUX shaker card!!

I cut out the front panel with stitched square dies and a heart die for the window.   started out as a shaker card and I ahing.  So I thought I would just roll with it and make it a FAUX shaker card!!

I took the outline Hello and stamped it in Audrey Blue ink and coloured it in with my Y21 & 0 copic marker.s  I let the ink dry enough that it didn't smudge when I used the markers and I didn't do any heavy shading either.

I then added in the confetti hearts and stars from the kit and instead of having them shake around, I glued them to the background.  I also added some of the SSS sequins that come in all the different sizes.   I took some of the stickers that came in the kit and added them to create a sentiment and added in the sun, clouds and hearts.

Hello Sunshine - Card

Hello everyone!!

I'm here playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #25 and I'm sure it was made just for me.  If you follow me, you know that I am a Clean and Simply kind'a girl so the challenge is "White on White"!  Yup, right up my alley eh!

So now on to my card.

I started out with an A2 sized card base and I use the Recollections 110# white card stock.  I then took some vellum and stamped the Grid Background stamp with SSS white pigment ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I cut it down and used multi matte medium to put small little dots of glue where the lines intersect and adhered that to the base.

I stamped the sentiment on the banner die with smoke ink and popped it up on foam tape.  I then pieced the leaves that I die cut out of white card stock under the banner.  I die cut the sunshine sentiment that came in the August card kit from what card stock as well and glued it to the banner and added some Wink of Stella.

To finish off the card as with most of my cards I used Pretty Pink Posh sequins in marshmallow, 4 & 6mm sizes.

Well that's it for me.  Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

Hi everyone,

Coralynn here back on the BRI blog with another card.

I was inspired by my very talented and fellow DT member Marcie.  She did the colour blending in the middle of a card to help with a focal point and loved it so much I did something very similar to mine.

I started out with a couple of distress inks and blended them mostly in the centre of the card and overlapped them in the middle to give it more of a greener colour.  I took a background stamp from Hero Arts (any background stamp you have will work for this) and stamped it on with Versamark ink and heat set it just to have a bit of interest.

I them used the Lawn Fawn stitched oval dies and it's the two largest dies from the large set (wow that's a mouthful!)  I taped them together and ran them through my die cutting machine and to give it some interest I popped up the middle panel on foam tape.

I then die cut out the flowers from Paper Smooches out of white card stock and glued them directly to the popped up panel and then added some glitter with the Wink of Stella glitter brush just because everything is better with glitter!

I added the sentiment with Versafine black ink on a banner and popped it up with foam tape to the front panel.

Don't forget to stop by the BRI shop to have a look at the awesome crafty goodness Vanessa always has!

Skipping Stones Design Grand Reopening/New Release Blog Hop - Day 2!

Hi everyone!

It's day 2 of the Skipping Stones Design Grand Reopening/New Release Blog Hop.

I am all about clean and simple so I thought these note cards would be nice to add to a gift.

I cut out the panel with a stitched rectangle die and popped it up on foam tape.  Then I stamped the tree from the "Joy" stamp set.  I liked it so much that I made two and they are super easy so they would be great to mass produce for your Christmas cards.   I used pink and teal inks and finished them off with some gems.

I used a teal and navy inks to do the rock and roll technique and stamped them on to white card stock.  I then fussy cut them out and popped them up on foam tape. I used the teal ink and the small butterflies from the Dandelion Dreams set and did some second, third and sometimes 4th generation stamping to give it some dimension.  I fished off the card with some teal ad clear sequins.
