AAA Cards Game #82 Winter Chill

Hello everyone,

We have a new game with AAA Cards and it's all about the winter chills.  It's not cold here but it did snow a bit and I'm happy.  It's nice to have it all white again.

I started out with a piece of watercolour paper and used my Mission Gold watercolours to colour the panel.  I then took a snowflake die and cut out part of the panel.

I then added it to an A2 sized card base with liquid glue.  I then heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on a piece of black card stock from my stash. I added some foam tape and added it to the card base.

This is pretty easy are to make and would be great to mass produce for winter wedding or birthday cards or even after Christmas thank you cards.

Holiday Card Series - Merry Christmas

Hello everyone,

I have another card for my Holiday Card series.  I used some of the images I coloured during Kathy Racoosin's colouring challenge.

As soon as I coloured these up, I knew exactly the card I was going to make with them.  And so I did!

I stamped and coloured in the images with my copics and then I ran them through my die cutting machine and then added them to the panel with foam tape. I then cut out a square panel using white card stock from Recollections using the SSS stitched square dies.

As I put the stencil down onto the paper with from Winnie & Walter, I added it diagonally and then ink blended some Fog ink from Simon Says Stamp.  I then popped it up onto a square card base with fun foam. I am liking that stuff more and more for creating dimension on my cards. Especially since I'm one of those who gets so involved with the card I end up forgetting to stamp the sentiment until the card is put together.  This way even if I forget, there is enough support under the panel that I can still add it to the card without destroying the whole card.

After that was all done, I die cut the word merry three times out of black card stock from Lawn Fawn with a SSS word. It actually comes all together as Merry Christmas and I just cut off the Christmas part and stamped it instead. Unfortunately it has been so long since I did this card I can't remember which set the Christmas came from.  But there are many stamps set that would work.

To finish off the card I used a white Signo gel pen and added the little dots and dashes to the flower.

Tic-Tack-Toe Challenge Sixteen

Hello everyone,

Today I am here with my very last post for the Stamping Smiles Designs - Tic-Tac-Toe challenge.
I can not thank Ka enough for the wonderful opportunity of being with such a great team with amazing designers.  Enough with the mushy stuff, let's get to my card for this challenge.

My choice for today's challenge is:
Hexagons/Misting/Birthday

I used the MFT chicken wire cover up die and cut it out of white card stock. I then added Glad press and seal to the back so that all the little pieces would stay together and I took the inks and blended them from dark to light.

I took the colour shine and spritzed it once onto the panel.  I then took away the positive part and used the negative pieces.  I added foam tape pieces to each hexagon (yeah, worth it but not fun) and then added it to a card base.  I then took some navy card stock from my stash and cut out the happy birthday die and adhered it to the hexagons.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge 15 - Stamping Smiles Designs

 Hello everyone,

We are back for Stamping Smiles Designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge 15.

My choice: WORD DIES - SPARKLE - COLOUR BLOCKING

Now I have to say that I did google colour blocking as I just assumed that it was blocks of colour but I found out that it was also solid sections of colour.  So I have found a few designs that I liked but this style caught my eye.

I started with an ivory card base and used a stitched rectangle die to cut out the panel.  I then took a pencil and drew the lines to block off my colours and then went over them with a copic multi liner.

I then used Scattered Straw, Pumice Stone and Tattered Straw distress inks and added them with a water brush to the panel and let it dry.  I then took my Wink of Stella marker and added sparkle to the work die and the top left corner.

Thanks for stopping by, we hope to see your creations in the link up!
