With Sympathy - Card

Hello everyone!

I have a sympathy card for your today.  As much as we don't like needing cards like this but at least we can offer something more personal. 

I had this tree die cut out in my little basket of goodies that don't have a purpose yet and thought I would use it on a white background.

I didn't want the card to be completely white so I cut out the border with patterned paper with the SSS Frames die and it gave the card that little bit of pop that I was looking for to go with the sentiment.  The sentiment is from the Paw prints on your Heart stamp set and this is the coordinating die.  I used Fresh Peach ink from Hero Arts and dyed some white paper and then die cut it out from that.

Sending Sunshine

Hello everyone!

I'm back with a card that I hope will brighten your day.  We are still getting hit with more snow again this weekend and I needed something to brighten my day, that's for sure!

I started with a standard A2 size card base and I taped off the sides with some post-it tape to give me a 1" border.  I took a straight edge and I used Hero Arts shadow ink, Pumpkin Pie, Butter Bar and Soft Vanilla and a blending tool and made rays of sunlight.

I used the Sunshine Layers dies and the Sending Sunshine stamps from WPlus9 for the sentiment.  I put some of the Pumpkin Pie ink on some white card stock and cut it out with the "Sunshine" die.

I use the Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen on the Sunshine die cut and then coated it in a good layer of Glossy Accents.   I used Memento Onyx black ink for the other part of the sentiment.
